Streamline Technical Services (STS) was founded February of 2001, in Round Rock, Texas. Round Rock is located about 17 miles North of Austin. Lynn Bennett, Tom Lintner, and John Sanny made the initial investment of $20K—comprised of savings and personal funds— to turn a simple idea into a lucrative business. STS first turned a profit in that same year, with the first million soon to follow in 2002. |

The plan was clear. Making the most of a situation - a lack of service solutions for tape technology - the owners devised a simple answer. A month later, they were screening their first lot of tape drives in the Austin area. The solutions provided turned out to be so valuable to their customer that it quickly caught on with other manufacturers and distributors, and soon with other commodities. | |
